Our Favorite Five Wedding Tips
There are so many things to prepare for your wedding day. We want to share our favorite tips with you for making your wedding day memorable and stress free!
1. Double check each of your vendor contracts in detail.
Do you have everything agreed upon listed in your contract? Here are some reminders:
Make sure your venues have a backup location if you are planning to be outdoors.
Review your song lists and order of events for your reception with your DJ or MC.
Clarify what times your vendors will be arriving and departing and who will be covering cleaning up duties.
2. Create a detailed photography list so you can capture the most important moments.
Minimizing disappointment is the job of a great wedding coordinator. A bride must know her non negotiables for each aspect of her wedding day and photos are no exception. What is taken behind the camera on the wedding day are the memories that express the beginning a lifetime of love built together.
Meet with your photographer before your wedding day to review a detailed photo list for your wedding day. Be specific and include names of family, friends, and couples that are essential.
Search Pinterest to collect some ideas and create a board of your favorites! You do not want to look back with regrets.
3. Find something to make your day unique!
Talk with both of your families and incorporate a tradition that will add some personality . Some ideas may include:
An activity table for your guests to enjoy
A story board that illustrates your love story
A Polaroid photo booth guest book
Display photos of grandparents, parents and an engagement photo of bride and groom
4. Hire an event planner!
You need to focus on you! Let your coordinator plan the details so that you can enjoy your day! Create memories of your wedding day (and the planning process) with celebrations of joy!
Vendors, guests, and the wedding party will be at the correct location on time
All tips and final vendor payments will be taken care of! Go start your honeymoon!
All your gifts and cards will be delivered to a designated person
If anything goes wrong, your coordinator will do whatever it takes to make everything beautiful
5. Take in each moment.
There are so many things going on the day of your wedding with a schedule to follow and so many people to coordinate. Remember the day is about you and your husband. Take a moment away from the party to breathe.
After dinner, have your coordinator or a bridal party member take both of you to a designated place to soak everything in.
